This policy explains what information Redlands Jiu Jitsu, run by Eder Perez ("we", "us"), collects on redlandsjiujitsu.com and by text message, and how it's used. The website and text messages are run for Redlands Jiu Jitsu by Video Cartel.
What we collect
- What you enter on the form: first and last name, mobile phone number, email, whether the class is for you or your child, your child's age if you enter it, and your training experience.
- Your text replies about scheduling your free class.
- Basic technical data our web host records when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type.
We don't ask for your child's name. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this site.
How we use it
- To text you about your free class: available times, your booking, a follow-up afterward, and up to three reminders if you don't reply.
- To share your name, contact details and class booking with the staff at Gracie Barra Redlands, where the class is held, so they can welcome you and follow up about membership.
- To email you about your free class if texting doesn't work.
Text messages
By checking the box on the form, you agree to receive text messages about your free class from Redlands Jiu Jitsu. Message frequency varies, usually under ten messages per signup. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of any purchase. Your phone number and text opt-in are never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing.
Who we share it with
- The staff at Gracie Barra Redlands, to schedule and follow up on your class.
- Service providers that help us run this: Netlify (website hosting and form storage), Apple iMessage and LeadConnector (sending text messages), and our email provider. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
We don't sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while we're scheduling your class and following up, and for up to two years afterward, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at the address below and we'll respond within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for asking.
Children
This site is for adults. Parents and guardians may sign up a child for a kids class; we only collect the child's age, never their name. If you think a child under 13 has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
